Some progress on paid parking in suburbia
Brad,
Paid parking is gaining ground in the BART system in San Francisco. Just today, daily parking at BART in Walnut Creek is no longer free. By the end of June, 10 stations in the East Bay will charge for parking. BART directors did this to help balance the budget. More details at BART's Web site, http://www.bart.gov
